The secret engine technology that made the SR-71 the fastest plane ever

On December 17, 1903, the Wright
brothers flew the first airplane ever at
6.8 mph (10.9 km/h). Only 61 years
and five days later, the Lockheed SR-71
Blackbird took off. It's still the world's
fastest airplane with a speed of 2,193
mph (3,530 km/h.)

And it's even more unbelievable that
we haven't been able to top that 51
years later (it will be exactly 51 years
tomorrow—the first flight occurred on
December 22, 1963.) Absolutely
incredible.

Did I said whatsapp for desktop?.. Ya coming soon

WhatsApp
has millions of active users. The
messaging platform has witnessed
exponential growth in last few years. In
a way, WhatsApp has replaced the
conventional messaging system. All kind
of users are using this platform for
their day-to-day conversation.

According to a Dutch tech blog,
AndroidWorld, a version of whatsapp for
web is in works.
WhatsApp users are demanding for the
web version of WhatsApp from years.
Many users ended up accessing
WhatsApp on their computers using
AirDroid and Blustacks. Some other
messaging apps which are leading rivals
for WhatsApp like, WeChat, Viber, Line
and Telegram already have desktop
client of their messaging app. It is
important that WhatsApp brings the web
version of their app now. WhatsApp
didn't find the necessity of web or
desktop version of the messaging
platform as they wanted to stay mobile
only communication platform.
But, with increasing competition in
wireless messaging platforms, it is
important for WhatsApp to bring the
desktop interface to help users access
their messages even when they are
away from their smartphones.
According to a news on AndoridWorld.nl,
the new version 2.11.471 hits the web
version of WhatsApp. However, even if
WhatsApp creates the web client, users
will have to use OAuth authentication
to login to their WhatsApp account.
Web client will connect with mobile
client of app to seek permissions. If you
accept this request, it will revert back
to web client and let you access your
Whatsapp account from desktop.
WhatsApp has even created http://
web.whatsapp.com/subdomain to power
this upcoming version.
Facebook acquired WhatsApp earlier
this year, this new move of WhatsApp’s
expansion hits Facebook’s future vision
but however, Facebook hasn't
integrated Facebook Login to access
WhatsApp web client. The screenshot on
AndroidWorld.nl’s post proves the
upcoming WhatsApp’s web client

Bill Gates: Ctrl-Alt- Delete "Was a Mistake"

The keyboard combo that is
Control-Alt-Delete may have
become iconic—but according to
Bill Gates it was all just a big
mistake.
Talking to the Harvard
fundraising campaign, Gates
admitted that the series of
button presses was far from
intentional:
"It was a mistake... We
could have had a single
button, but the guy who did
the IBM keyboard design
didn't wanna give us our
single button".
Indeed, responsibility for Ctrl-
Alt-Delete rests with David
Bradley, an engineer who
worked on the original IBM PC.
It's an enduring legacy, too; the
button combo still works in
Windows 8 to lock a PC or run
Task Manager. Quite a long
history for a mistake. [ Harvard
